Breaststroke has always been my natural and best stroke. My best time for 100 yards is 1:03 and this year I haven't gotten under 1:08.1!!! I am doing everything I have been doing for the last few years where I have swam in the 1:03-1:05 range. I have even added a leg/lower body workout to improve my leg strength. All my other events (besides fly) are going well, and I'm almost swimming my best times in those strokes. Why is my breast and fly struggling this year while my other strokes are just as good as they've ever been? Do I need to do more breast/fly in practice? Any suggestions at all would be appreciated!!
